When the Chinese say "虫子", do they usually mean "worm" or "insects"?
老师：早起的鸟儿抓得到虫子。 学生：那么，早起的虫子呢？
Teacher: The early bird gets the worm.Student: Then,what about the early worm?

My daughter has gone to a Chinese school for a few years now, and knows many Chinese characters. She just entered junior high. My job is to make sure that she spends about 10-15 minutes to listen, read, translate and record her reading in Chinese everyday. I have Penpower Chinese Expert software.
